The Long Game explores Jewish women’s enduring relationship with mahjongg—a game that became more than a pastime. What began as a night carved out for companionship—while their husbands played poker—evolved into a forty-year gathering of connection, laugher and therapy. The film reflects on how cultural rituals endure—and what they quietly hold over time.

Twice a week, the COMO Mobile Aid Collective transforms the Ashley Street Center parking lot into a pop-up health clinic, offering Columbia’s homeless population access to essential health services during dinner hours at Loaves and Fishes. Volunteer health professionals provide free wound care, blood pressure checks, and hygiene supplies. Leading the charge is Gayle Link Chang, a full-time clinical specialist with the American Red Cross who spends her free time volunteering with the collective.
